About Me.

Personal Philosophy

I believe health education is a powerful tool for addressing health disparities and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their well-being. My philosophy focuses on bridging gaps in access to care, particularly for marginalized and underserved communities, through inclusive education, advocacy, and innovative technology. I have a strong passion for sexual and reproductive health and believe it is vital to provide individuals with equitable access to the resources and knowledge they need to make decisions that align with their values and circumstances. By combining evidence-based education and emerging technologies, I aim to create sustainable solutions that reduce disparities and promote healthier, more connected, and informed communities.

Professional Statement

I am passionate about advancing public health by focusing on sexual and reproductive health, health education, and the integration of emerging technologies. My commitment to serving underserved and marginalized communities stems from a belief that equitable access to healthcare is fundamental to improving overall well-being. Through my experiences with Planned Parenthood, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of reproductive health education and advocacy in empowering individuals to make informed choices.

In the next five years, I plan to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), specializing in clinical informatics, to advance my career and expand my impact. This degree will allow me to integrate my background in community health education with advanced clinical knowledge and technological solutions to address systemic challenges, particularly in sexual and reproductive healthcare. My education and experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in outreach, health education and promotion, and leveraging technology to meet community needs. I am committed to advancing equity, improving healthcare systems, and creating sustainable solutions to reduce health disparities and empower communities.
