This project explored the prevalence, risk factors, and prevention strategies for Chlamydia trachomatis among U.S. college students, highlighting the role of education, socioeconomic barriers, and stigma in disease transmission. Through this work, I strengthened my ability to analyze health trends, assess population needs, and identify actionable interventions. It reinforced the importance of accessible sexual health education and services in addressing preventable health issues and advancing health equity.

This project explored global health policies addressing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education in schools, focusing on their impact, gaps, and barriers to implementation. Bilingual Content Translator
I contributed to the "Derechos de Adolescentes y Recursos Locales" and "La Trata de Personas" presentations during my time at Planned Parenthood, focusing on translating English materials into Spanish. My role involved ensuring that the translations were culturally appropriate and linguistically accurate to meet the needs of diverse audiences. This work not only supported bilingual health educators in delivering impactful presentations but also helped promote inclusivity and accessibility in health education.
Social Media Content Creator
While at Planned Parenthood, I designed two social media graphics for the Peer Ambassador Program to support December HIV/AIDS Awareness Month. These graphics aimed to educate and engage youth on HIV prevention and testing, fostering awareness through visually impactful designs.
